ORCHARD PARK, NY — Polymer Conversions is a plastics manufacturing facility located in Orchard Park, NY that is undergoing a cleanroom construction expansion and renovation project to increase their plastics manufacturing capability.
What is cleanroom construction exactly? According to R&D World “The essential characteristic of a cleanroom is that it is a building within a building. These controlled environments have completely separate systems for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), lighting, flooring, and walls.”
The team at Resetarits Construction is in the process of building two new main additions to the facility that will provide them with 35,000 sqft. of extra space. Currently, the structural steel shell is being constructed at the north addition and will be outfitted later with insulated metal panels followed by the west tool room addition which is of masonry and structural steel construction.
When all is said and done, Polymer Conversions will have a new state-of-the-art warehouse, Class 100,000 Cleanroom, tool shop, and additional office space for their expanding business. We are proud to say Polymer Conversions is also a repeat customer of ours. We provided a smaller but similar expansion to their facility in 2008 and are happy to help them on their latest expansion project as well!
